Due to the ambiguous nature of the Consumer Product Improvement Act of 2008 ('CPSIA') and the many different opinions in interpreting its content; recommendations and criteria for compliance to these new standards and regulations which are enforced by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission ('CPSC') have changed substantially since its being signed into law in August of 2008.  Because of this, some of the documents provided below contained information that no longer applies to the present interpretive state of the CPSIA, such documents have been removed from our site to avoid any confusion that may be misleading or contradictory to the CPSC's present interpretation of the law.
